Hypotheses about where cockroaches have gone

Many are concerned about the question of where the cockroaches have gone. Turning on the lights in the kitchen, people no longer see insects hastily fleeing. No one is rummaging around in the trash can. The hosts carelessly, already out of habit, leave a bowl of cookies on the table. And some even almost forgot what these insects look like.

Finally, the pests that dragged a bunch of pathogenic microbes into human dwellings no longer bother. But something prevents people from rejoicing and enjoying freedom, strange doubts torment them. Can a person feel completely safe in buildings where even insects leave? This question has been asked more and more often lately.

Really, maybe all this is not good? After all, cockroaches, who are masters of survival even in adverse conditions of existence, could not go anywhere without a good reason.

Scientists are puzzled, psychics are puzzled, disinfectors are bored. There are many explanations for this phenomenon, and some of them are quite unexpected ...

Let's look at the proposed explanations in more detail.

Cockroaches couldn't stand electromagnetic radiation?

One of the most reliable explanations why cockroaches have disappeared is the constant high-frequency electromagnetic effect on them in human dwellings. Residential buildings and institutions are crammed with a variety of equipment. When working, it forms an electromagnetic field, which creates unfavorable conditions for the life of cockroaches.

Sources of electromagnetic radiation in the apartment

Here are the devices that researchers are ready to name the culprits of the death of cockroaches:

  • Cell phones.
  • Microwaves.
  • Computers.

In recent decades, such devices have firmly entered our lives. The question of their safety for humans and animals is still being discussed, and there are more and more arguments about the harmful effects of radio frequencies every year.

Scientists have suggested that the Prussians, with their inherent sensitivity, were the first to react to electromagnetic radiation, so they left the cities, left the high-rise buildings in which they were so comfortable before.

It has been noticed that for some reason there are no cockroaches in those regions where the old GPRS and GSM standards are in effect. These include Russia and most countries of the Near Abroad.

Are GMOs to blame for the death of cockroaches?

People are not without reason worried, where did the cockroaches go, because they ate our supplies? Increasingly, genetically modified foods began to appear in the human diet. Is this what is meant to save humanity from starvation or what will finally destroy it?

GMOs could be the reason for the mass extinction of cockroaches

More than one large-scale experiment in authoritative laboratories is devoted to the study of the safety of GMOs (genetically modified organisms, primarily for agricultural purposes). And the first results are not comforting.

Most experts sound the alarm.Missing cockroaches? This is nothing compared to the consequences of tampering with the genetic code. They are difficult to predict. All links in the food chain suffer: an insect that has tasted a product of genetic engineering, a duck that has pecked at an unfortunate insect, a mammal whose victim is a bird.

Unfortunately, until the harm of a particular product is proven, more than one generation of people will suffer. Researchers are convinced that cockroaches disappeared as a result of systematic food poisoning from the human table. I don't want to be the next victim.

Created a perfect insecticide that killed cockroaches

People who are tired of fighting unpleasant synanthropes want to believe that cockroaches have disappeared forever. Probably, the employees of the disinfection stations began to work perfectly and, armed with a powerful insecticide, rid the apartments of insects, just as doctors defeated smallpox through vaccination.

And further: Cockroaches hid in all the cracks and there is no way to get to them? And smoke bombs get them even where a needle cannot squeeze through ...

Hypothesis: cockroaches died out from highly effective insecticides

That's why there are no cockroaches in Moscow. Chemicals have been scattered and sprayed by people over their own homes for a long time and often to no avail, but the moment has come when new advanced technologies have made it possible to create drugs that are many times more effective than previous pesticides.

This is what worries skeptics. Insects sooner or later adapted to any poisons, and it is very doubtful that some unique insecticides that can completely destroy them already exist. Looks like the cockroaches just gave us a break.

Science does not stand still. Despite the successes achieved, scientists are preparing for the next stage of the battle with insects. The new weapon, according to their calculations, will lead to the fact that the cockroaches living in human dwellings will finally finally die out.

Scientists are preparing a new weapon against cockroaches

Highly Expected Tool Is a Virus - the causative agent of a deadly infection, fortunately, exclusively among cockroaches. It attacks the cells of their digestive tract. Before the insect dies, it has time to transmit the infection to a bunch of its relatives. That's when people will finally stop wondering where the cockroaches have gone.

Cockroaches were too tough for plastic and linoleum

We ourselves are to blame for the fact that cockroaches have disappeared somewhere. No one will argue that the appearance of modern apartments is significantly different from the conditions in which people lived 20-30 years ago. Paper wallpapers were replaced by plastic panels, and the owners began to hide the wooden floor under a PVC coating, they also learned how to make furniture from artificial materials imitating wood or stone.

Perhaps the cockroaches had nothing to eat in the apartments

Not every middle-class citizen can afford expensive repairs using natural raw materials. This led theorists to the idea that it was the excess of synthetics in the room, which often had a pungent odor, that was the reason that the cockroaches left in an unknown direction.

And further: You can smear at least the entire apartment with cockroach gel, but they will not die if you do not take into account a number of important nuances ...

Cockroaches couldn't stand the competition

The fact that the Prussian gradually ousted the Black Cockroach from human buildings has long been known to entomologists, and they easily interpret this fact. Fertility, rapid maturation, care for offspring allowed the red cockroach to prevail over its black counterpart.

But the question of why the Prussians themselves disappeared from the apartments remains open. Could these peaceful creatures eat each other? Cannibalism is a phenomenon not alien to cockroaches. However, it is not so widespread that an entire nosological category of insects ceased to exist. Yes, and, as a rule, defective individuals are eaten, or laying eggs, recklessly left in a conspicuous place.

Cockroaches are inherently cannibalistic

But cockroaches have another rival that claims the same habitat - a domestic ant. Some seriously believe that this creature, much better organized and, like the Prussians, omnivorous, has a better chance of winning in the competitive struggle.

Natural rivalry in the animal world is an integral part of life, a way of regulating population size, the basis of evolution. But still, this is not a very convincing argument explaining where the cockroaches have gone.

Is the disappearance of cockroaches a harbinger of an economic crisis?

What were the Prussians afraid of? After analyzing the current situation, scientists from different countries came to an unexpected opinion: cockroaches felt the approach of the economic crisis that erupted in 2008.

It is believed that cockroaches disappeared due to the economic crisis

This bold guess of entomologists is indirectly confirmed. Recently found a huge thriving cockroach colony in the Indian state of Goa. No financial cataclysms affect this territory, which is probably why insects live there so freely. Now we know where the cockroaches have gone.

Cockroaches completed their mission on Earth and retired

Perhaps the most incredible version of where and why the cockroaches disappeared was put forward by ufologists. They are confident that these insects, living side by side with humans for thousands of years, are space spies. Pretending to be stupid creatures, they were able to obtain comprehensive information about the life of Homo sapiens, penetrating into the most intimate corners of our lives, without needing any passports or passes.

alien cockroaches

The cockroaches have disappeared, because now their honorable mission is completed, they were able to safely leave our homes and return to their planet. Only it is unlikely that anyone will provide indisputable evidence incriminating cockroaches in espionage.

The cockroaches will definitely be back

It would seem that cockroaches have nowhere to disappear. Whether they were frightened by the bell ringing of the restored temples, or the high noise level of megacities, or they were killed by the food additive E450, or they flew away to their planet - no one knows for sure.

Where did the cockroaches go - this is certainly not the worst problem that should worry humanity. According to biologists, the number of insects is characterized by undulating fluctuations. This is a natural process.

And, finally, the most important thing that is designed to reassure suspicious people: it seems that soon a slightly different question will stir up on the Internet: why cockroaches have appeared again. Information about their "safe" return to apartments and cottages has already appeared.

Cockroaches are back in apartments

They are no longer hindered by European-style renovation, an abundance of mobile phones and modern poison, they are still ready to eat food from our table, including GMOs. No need to be surprised, because cockroaches have repeatedly proven their ability to adapt ...

The news that cockroaches did not disappear anywhere, if it does not please, then console. But you need to think about something else. Will the current stasik, as before, be peaceful and shy, or will people have to deal with a mutant - bold, wiser, resistant to poisons, able to gnaw the skin of sleeping people at night (there is a lot of evidence that cockroaches do this).

Be that as it may, but a new stage of the struggle for the freedom of the home from insects has begun.

I observed in the district hospital, cockroaches live safely in the metal casing of the exhaust ventilation, periodically going down to drink. So the version of the disappearance of cockroaches due to the magnetic radiation of phones seems to be correct.

We have an invasion of cockroaches, some kind of horror. Don't scratch anything. With the next processing, a part dies. The rest are alive. They poisoned us 7 times. We are in a panic.

The central heating system ended, after that we noticed that they were gone. Cold winters: we noticed this in 1992-1994, when the whole republic was sitting without light and heat.

I can say with confidence that all the arguments are sheer nonsense. I have a hole in the ceiling and they always climbed from there, and since the fall of 2014 not a single one, for half a year already. I really killed them with dohlox at that moment, but can you kill them all? In nature, there are many changes at the level of insects. So there were not so many mosquitoes in summer. I'm not talking about grasshoppers, which used to jump everywhere, or ants, there are almost none in the city. And ladybugs are rare. There is clearly something wrong with the insects.
Pesticides sprinkled on the fields for many years and chemicals used against snow could have had an effect. True, in our city there is almost no snow. And, by the way, since autumn I started using the microwave ... But somehow I doubt that all the cockroaches of the entrance were offended and left.

Yeah, well… they disappeared. My husband brought it dearly from the military unit, it’s not clear how he brought it: either he got into a bag, or he sat out in the car ... But the fact remains - we are on the warpath with cockroaches. First time. And until that moment I didn’t even worry and didn’t think about where they were and how they lived there. I hope we will bring it out, because I have to sleep with the light, I'm afraid to lose consciousness of red creatures 🙂

Guys, no cockroaches have disappeared anywhere ... They will appear right there, as soon as there is something to eat and drink, the second is the most important. Eating is easier for them than drinking. Indeed, not so long ago, water meters were massively installed in the country, people installed modern plumbing, public utilities eliminated leaks as much as possible, all these leaks became overhead. And without those former water leaks, cockroaches are tight. And I'm pretty sure that in houses or areas where it's warm and there's water leakage, cockroaches can easily be found.

GMOs, waves, frequencies, electromagnetic fields - all this is nonsense ... If a person survives, then a cockroach and even more so. Water is an essential element of their life.

There is ALWAYS enough water and food waste in the siphons of washbasins and kitchen sinks. So there is plenty to eat and drink for their soul.

Since the age of 86, my apartment has been full of barbels. They poisoned and starved regularly - all in vain. Then in 2008 I noticed - not a single one. And so on until 2016. And here you are, they didn’t wait! Have returned.

I live in the center of Moscow. About 2-3 years ago, cockroaches appeared. I bought different means to destroy them, spent a lot of money, but none of them brought results. And when I resigned myself, I don’t remember when it happened, I suddenly noticed that there were no more cockroaches. Perhaps this is one of those phenomena that defy explanation.

Following the cockroaches, other insects disappear, then small animals, then the turn will reach us. The reason is banal: after the 1991 revolution, natural foods are gradually being replaced by synthetic ones. Replace liberal democracy with Stalin's dictatorship and the cockroaches will reappear. They lived to see that there are practically no healthy people anymore, and they are getting dumber every year ... By the way, GMOs are the most powerful sexual sterilizer; and there is also such a film: “E is the sign of death” (this is what is added to food in order to reduce the population). Here it is, the democracy of developed capitalism. What ends? Yes, because the angels will sound soon!

I was in Thailand, so there are a lot of them, both in apartments and in hotels. For some reason, neither mobile phones nor GMOs work on them there!

And there are a lot of them in Cameroon. They are huge and fly even around the room! I live in Moscow, and in the Moscow region, too, since 10 years have disappeared in apartments. And also relatives in St. Petersburg and Veliky Novgorod do not have cockroaches, and even in Khrushchev, in which there is a grocery store. It's strange ... It is clear that some kind of experiment is being carried out on Russia, on the survivability of insects and people. Maybe special chemicals in food or GMOs. Or maybe the waves generated by the zombie generator, which causes depression, fear and humility in people, and death in general for a cockroach... The strongest will survive! All of us will not be killed by poisons, but will be made stronger, both people and cockroaches. What doesn't kill us makes us stronger!

There were a lot of cockroaches in the house, no drugs helped, they only slightly reduced the total number. But when we left for six months and turned off the water in the riser in the apartment, there were NO cockroaches! At all!

I thought they would gradually return from the neighbors when we start using water, but another six months have passed, and there are no cockroaches! Moreover, I saw single scouts several times, but the invasion - such as happened before, did not happen. This, of course, pleases, but also scares. Maybe they, like locusts, come in raids in some years?

In our village, cockroaches disappeared in the early 2000s.And in the village, if there was an electromagnetic effect, it was only from TVs. Cellular communications appeared in the late 2000s. Linoleum and plastic are still missing in some houses.

In our village in the southeast of the Moscow region, mosquitoes have disappeared, which were once very numerous. The third year we do not use a fumigator, ointments and aerosols. The number of flies, bees, wasps and bumblebees has noticeably decreased. With flies, everything is clear: the villagers have ceased to engage in animal husbandry; and if there is no manure, then there will be no flies. It is also clear with bees: there are fewer beekeepers. With wasps and bumblebees it is not clear. And what strikes me most is the catastrophic reduction in the number of birds: swallows, swifts, wagtails, starlings, magpies, rooks have disappeared, I very rarely see sparrows. Crows and jackdaws still fly, but not much.

About cockroaches and bedbugs: they have not been in our house for 30 years. My son-in-law says that no one will get along with me, even these insects.

They recently reappeared after a long hiatus. I live in Moscow. Now I'm sure cockroaches come from hell. They left Russia during the period of economic recovery. Now we are in a crisis and, apparently, for a long time. Desperation and hopelessness reigned in the country. Cockroaches sensed and returned. And the more the bottom reaches the feeling of hopelessness, the more there will be. Remember the early 90s? Exactly.

I read somewhere that cockroaches have a chitinous body. It needs calcium. The gradual disappearance of lime from the decoration of apartments, the appearance of new synthetic materials in plaster instead, etc. led to the departure of cockroaches in places where there is still building material for the body.

The cockroaches were the first to fade, the bees had a little left, the bats will be the third, then the ants, the birds, and after about 20-30 generations, human DNA must also absolutely mutate under the influence of the external environment. This environment now, in the 21st century, is a strong catalyst, since DNA is unstable to magnetic vibrations. For cockroaches, this is especially critical, since their main defense mechanism and survival strategy is to avoid mutations. For bees, mutations are very detrimental, as their DNA affects distribution functions, and their survival strategy is therefore dependent on this. Bats have one helix of DNA, which is therefore unstable during their lifetime, which gives them a lot of trouble. Birds are oriented in space by magnetic radiation, but not by the brain, but by vibrations of cell nuclei. They are also vulnerable. And man, like everyone else, is vulnerable to mitosis, the consequences of this will become clear over the course of generations. Naturally, it is beneficial for corporations to keep this a secret, since people, when choosing "profit or future", in 99% of cases choose profit. Here and now.
