In fact, there are many ways to get rid of bed bugs permanently. These parasites die from various poisons, from high and low temperatures, they do not have any superpowers.

But still, there are several proven methods that really help to remove parasites from the apartment once and for all. These methods are widely used and tested by thousands of people. It has been proven that they are really effective and help get rid of bed bugs in the house.

Let's start with the most common method - getting rid of parasites by spraying insecticides. The main advantage of this technique is the effective destruction of all bedbugs, regardless of their location and the degree of infestation of the premises. Another plus: aerosol products allow you to get rid of absolutely all domestic insects, such as ants, cockroaches, etc.

Not without cons. The main disadvantage is the complexity of the process. In addition, insecticidal aerosol preparations usually have an unpleasant odor.

Professional pest control services use "cold mist", in which the droplets of the active substance are smaller, which means they penetrate better into hard-to-reach places where whole clusters of pests can be observed. Devices that create such a fog are very expensive.

Another way is to use a poisoned powder (dust). The most common and affordable are Feverfew, Clean House, Phenaksin and other similar products.

However, this method is considered less effective than the first one. This is due to the fact that the death of bed bugs occurs only after the insects run over the poisoned powder. It can be concluded that if the insects do not come into contact with the poison, then they will not be able to be removed.

The next method is freezing the room. The main advantage of this method is complete safety for humans, while high efficiency in the destruction of bed bugs. But still there is a significant minus.

It is difficult to freeze insects in apartments and other residential premises where there are engineering systems. For the effective destruction of all parasites, it takes about 24 hours to maintain the temperature in the room at least minus 20 degrees Celsius. Consequently, this will lead to freezing of water pipes and other problems.

It can be concluded that this method is good in practice when removing bedbugs from non-residential premises, for example, in sheds, chicken coops, cellars, etc. You can also freeze individual items, such as furniture (sofa, armchair, soft toys, etc.). Insects will die, and a thing or furniture can be brought back into the apartment.

And one more thing: the bugs hid in all the cracks, and you just can’t find their nest? And smoke bombs find bedbugs where even a needle cannot squeeze through ...

There is another way, the absolute opposite of freezing is the use of high temperatures. It has been proven that bedbugs die in about 40 minutes, provided that the room temperature is maintained at about 45 degrees Celsius. If it is raised to 52 degrees, 10 minutes is enough to destroy adults, nymphs and larvae. If you warm up the apartment to a level of 60 degrees and maintain it for an hour, you can be sure that all insects will die.

However, the corresponding fan heaters are quite expensive, and it is unprofitable to buy them for a single use.

Bed bugs are often treated with hot steam. This method has been used since past centuries, people even killed bedbugs with steam from a kettle.

In fact, if you carefully treat the shelters of insects with hot steam, they will certainly die. But since most of the "nests" are localized in hard-to-reach places where it is difficult for steam to penetrate, it is most often difficult to destroy all parasites with a steam generator alone.

Another unusual way is to use adhesive tape. To do this, you need to lie down to sleep on the floor - for example, but an air mattress. Around it you need to stick adhesive tape in wide strips, which is usually intended for catching flies and mosquitoes.

Bed bugs, after they do not find a person in their usual place of rest, will begin to look for him around the apartment. They are guided by the smell of carbon dioxide exhaled by people. As a result, they move towards the mattress and stick to the tape.

Remember that even the most effective way to remove insects in the house does not guarantee that after the death of all individuals, the parasites will not start again. It is necessary to make every effort so that the bugs do not get into your apartment again.
