During the test, we treated bed bugs with Get Express solution and found that the death of all individuals occurred 42 minutes after the start of the experiment.

0:08 - Get Express insecticide is usually considered as a kind of complement to Get Total. It is known that Get Total, due to the microencapsulated structure of chlorpyrifos, which is part of it, is able to maintain high activity on treated surfaces for a long time (up to six months).

0:29 - However, the rate of destruction of insects with a direct hit on them by Get Total is not so high: our last test showed that when treated with this agent, the bugs died only after 2.5 hours.

0:51 – However, many people would be happy with a faster result. It is for such people that the Get company has launched a new product on the market - Get Express. At the same time, it is claimed that the drug is able to destroy bedbugs much faster than Get Total.

1:03 - In addition, the manufacturer recommends using Get Express together with Get Total. Both products are jointly dissolved in 3 liters of water, after which the prepared solution is sprayed with possible hiding places for bed bugs and surfaces on which they can move. At the same time, it is assumed that Get Express will immediately destroy those insects on the outer covers of which it has fallen, and Total will ensure the persecution of the rest, which will subsequently run over previously treated surfaces. In addition, the dried Get Total will protect the apartment for a long time from those single individuals that are able to enter the premises from the neighbors.

1:48 - So, our task is to test the ability of Get Express to poison bedbugs much faster than Get Total.

1:55 - If you look at the composition of the product, we can assume that it really should work quickly. The fact is that the active ingredient in Get Express is the insecticide lambda-cyhalothrin. According to experienced exterminators, it is known that it is usually enough to fill the apparatus for spraying the solution with a lambda-cyhalothrin-based agent in order to destroy almost all insects in the apartment in an hour. Well, it remains for us to check whether Get Express is really a quick action tool.

2:16 – On the increased safety of the microencapsulated form of the insecticide

2:44 - Let's start checking the speed of the remedy.

2:55 - For the experiment, we take ordinary bed bugs.

3:13 - In total, 5 adults and one nymph were taken for testing.

3:38 - Dilute the product in water to prepare a working solution.

3:42 - According to the instructions for use, for baiting bedbugs in 1 liter of water, you must dissolve half the bottle of the product (this is 25 ml).

4:05 - The concentrate has a whitish color. When dissolved in water, we get a cloudy solution with a slightly yellowish tint.

4:15 - We note that the product has a specific smell, although it is not very strong.

4:21 - Pour the prepared insecticide solution into a regular household spray bottle.

5:44 - We treat the test bugs with a solution by spraying from a short distance.

6:13 - In total, two "puffs" were made. Small drops of the spray fell on the bottom of the plastic container and on the bugs themselves. We note the time and see how quickly the insects are poisoned.

6:28 - The mechanism of action of lambda-cyhalothrin on insects is almost the same as that of other insecticides from the pyrethroid group. Upon contact with the outer integument of the insect, the substance combines with the wax layer, and then gradually penetrates into the body through this layer.

8:26 - Thanks to this action, lambda-cyhalothrin is able to destroy bedbugs even after complete drying on previously treated surfaces.

10:31 - One of the bugs showed signs of paralysis: the parasite cannot move normally.

10:58 - It looks like the first bug is almost dead.

11:24 - After 18 minutes from the start of the test, three bugs died, but three individuals are still alive.

12:24 – 41 minutes have passed since processing. All test bed bugs died.

12:49 - Conclusion: Get Express really destroys bedbugs much faster than Get Total does.

13:12 - Thus, Get Express is well suited to enhance the effect of using Get Total. Get Express quickly poisons the main population of bedbugs, cockroaches and other insects, and Total subsequently gradually finishes off the rest.

13:35 - For some time, Get Express retains its poisonous activity in a dried form on the treated surfaces.

13:56 - One of the options - you can use both tools separately: first Get Express, then Get Total.

14:32 - In one of the following experiments, it will be interesting to check how quickly the bugs will be destroyed by a combination of two agents.

A few words about Get Express security

The agent is not a poison for warm-blooded organisms. With careful observance of all the requirements of the instructions for the use of poisoning, you can not be afraid. For the entire time that the remedy has been on the market, not a single case of severe poisoning by it has been recorded. For use at home, this tool is quite suitable.
